Getting to the Apartment
The apartment is an hour's drive north of Lisbon airport on the A8. Lisbon International Airport is the closest airport to the Silver Coast.
The airport is served by several airlines including:-
British Airways - several flights daily from Heathrow, London
Portugal's Main Airline - several flights daily from Heathrow, London
Easyjet - flights from Bristol airport, London Gatwick, Luton and Liverpool airports
Ryanair - Ryanair fly to Porto - 2.5 hours drive to apartment.
Car hire is recommended although a bus can be caught from Lisbon bus station to Sao Martinho do Porto. Cost of taxi to Sete Rios bus station from Lisbon airport approximately 10-15 euros and then 9 euros each way for the bus to Sao Martinho do Porto. New bus service runs now runs from Lisbon Airport to Sete Rios bus station - 3 euros per person each way.
Airport Taxi Transfer Service - I can arrange a taxi service to and from Lisbon airport - the driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and drop you to the apartment then pick you up for your return journey to the airport. During high season there can be long queues at the car hire desks at Lisbon airport - we have used a car hire service where a car hire representative meets you in arrivals and the car is waiting outside for you and then you simply return the car to departures at the end of your holiday at an agreed time. We allow 1.5 hours to drive back down to Lisbon but it generally takes just over an hour. This service can be arranged through:
